Monday 17th - Friday 21st This Week is Global Enterprise Week!
That's right everyone, this week's ENTERPRISE WEEK! There are loads of great events being organised for you by the University. For more details get onto the Student Enterprise Website. Here are two of the most exciting speakers:
Tuesday 18th - Isca Networks: A successful hi-tech start-up
Building 32, Room 3077, The presentation starts at 5.15pm with light refreshments offered at 5.00pm.
Enterprise talk by Tom Spencer, CEO of Isca Networks Ltd.
Ever thought of becoming a CEO of a start-up? Tom Spencer, a recent electronics engineering graduate, left university in 2006 to launch Isca Networks Ltd.
In 2007, Isca started developing its core product, the Interact Platform, and expanded its position in serving a wide range of global customers. For more info see the IEEE Southampton Student's Website.
Wednesday 19th - Mike Southon - Something About the Beatles
Building 38 (Staff Social Center) from 17:30 'til 19:30
One of the world's top business speakers, and a Fellow of The Professional Speakers Association will be talking to us.
Mike is a Visiting Fellow in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at London South Bank University. He has made frequent appearances on television and radio and has a weekly column on entrepreneurship on Saturday in the Financial Times. We are, quite literally, the most inspiring club that you can join at uni. Check out the 2008/9 President, Tony Kissack, with an introduction:
Come down and help us interrogate the top entrepreneurs who come to speak to us. We welcome anyone and everyone who wants to get involved in business, make some money and above all, BE THEIR OWN BOSS. Climbing your career ladder in the big wide world is a daunting task. Why not just step in at the top?
